Group Tutoring
At Academic Peak we provide a group tutoring program. The group program is organized by the parents who are responsible for organizing 2 - 4 students who are at the same grade level with similar academic needs. The group works collectively on one academic subject per session, which is agreed upon by the students and parents.
There are many benefits to having group tutoring including:
- Students can help each other and can collaborate, share ideas and information.
- More questions can be asked and answered.
- The group benefits from a diversity of ideas and points of view.
- Students who actively participate in groups are proven to learn and retain information.
- Students feel more accountable to study and prepare for lessons.
- Lower cost for each student (compared to one-on-one tutoring).
